A course primarily intended for pilots who make their own operational de-icing and anti-icing decisions. This includes private pilots as well as those who fly business, corporate, air taxi, or freight operations in fixed-wing aircraft.
This self-guided training aid contains imagery, animation, pilot testimonials, case studies, and demonstrators. In addition, interactive exercises allow the user to assess his or her operational understanding of the key points.
The course is organized into five instructional modules. Each of these modules contains information about aspects of ground icing as well as exercises to apply your knowledge in an operational setting. Use the menu below to visit any of the available course sections.
